We are now looking for a curious, development minded Robotic Process automation (RPA) developer for our customer Wärtsilä to their office in Vaasa.

This position provides a great opportunity to work on divers set of technologies and build innovative solutions for business challenges. In this position you will use your programming skills to help drive process automation goals of internal stakeholders and support to build best in class automation practise. You will be a member of a fast growing team of process automation & robotic software services area within Data & Analytics team. You will get good onboarding and the professional team will support you the whole time. In this position you will have the opportunity to learn new technologies and grow your expertise.
In this position you will grow your expertise in the development of automation solutions using variety of technologies & platforms.
This includes, for example:
- Agile software development practices, testing standards, source code management, continuous delivery, and software architecture
- Participation in agile development projects
- Participation in the full software development cycle including coding, testing, implementation and support
- Participation in RPA platform development and maintenance
- Documentation and communication in own responsibility area
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Knowledge of databases technologies (e.g. MsSQL, Oracle, etc)
- Knowledge of different integration technologies (REST, SOAP)
The position begins in August with full-time, twelve months fixed-term employment via Studentwork.
